Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

So what movie is next after watching the most recent Disney film? Why, the first feature length Disney film, obviously. Snow White is the movie the started it all and because of that will always hold a special place in any Disney fan’s heart.

Have you ever been watching a movie and had a question or two pop into your mind that is never answered in the story? Of course you have, we all have. So instead of letting the questions go unanswered, why not answer it yourself? Melissa and I often ask and answer our own questions when watching a movie, especially one we have seen many times. While watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs this time around, the following questions were asked:

Are the seven dwarfs brothers? If not, why do they live together?
For who and why do they dig for diamonds?
What happens to the diamonds after the put them in the vault?
How did their current situation come to be?

Melissa gave the answer that they are not brothers.  They were each hired by the King (before he died) to dig for the diamonds and other precious jewels that could be found in the mine.  Since the mine was too small for a normal sized man to fit and work in, dwarfs were hired for the job.  In exchange for digging in the mines the whole day through, the dwarfs were given room and board in a nearby cottage. And there they live out their days.
