“Pollyaaaaannnnaaaa!” We love Pollyanna. How can you lose with Haley Mills? You can’t. (Note: we have yet to watch the other Disney Haley Mills movies. I hope the “can’t lose rule” will still apply for all of them). This movie is one that both Melissa and I have loved ever since we were kids. Pollyanna is the Queen! She just strolls into town all, “Hey everyone, let just be glad.” The town obeys and everyone is happy. But that scene in the tree after the bazarre!! If you have seen it, you know what I am talking about. It stresses me out. Every time that scene comes, I yell at Pollyanna, “No! Don’t!” and hope that she might listen to me this time, but she never does and then I am sad. Then I hear Pollyanna in my head saying, “Be glad” and, of course, I obey.
