We love Tina Fey and we love the Muppets so we had high hopes for this movie. It did not reach those high hopes. We felt like it had musical numbers just for the sake of having/giving an actor a musical number. The songs didn’t really move the story along so felt like it dragged, that we had watched a half hour or so of movie and yet the story was in the same place. It did have its moments, though. We did love Tina Fey (duh), it still had some classic Muppet humor and the scenes with Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell) and Sam the Eagle were great. I would re-watched the movie just for those scenes…well I would re-watch those scenes.
