THE CAT FROM OUTER SPACE (1978)

A cat from another planet crash lands on earth. In order to get back home, Jake the cat, must get some gold for fuel and then take back his ship from the US Government with the help of his human friends. Due to a highly advanced collar, Jake is able to speak and move objects telepathically. This comes in handy for the team as they try to help Jake. The idea itself is interesting enough and we wanted to keep watching to see how it was all going to play out, but we got bored. The plane and helicopter chase scene at the end was very long. It took forever and needed to be cut in half. And the scene where the bet on a game of pool, so they can buy gold for the ship, is just dumb. Jake uses his power to move the cue ball before the player even hits it causing the opponents to examine the ball. If you are going to cheat at least make it believable.
