Walt Disney died during the production of this film leaving a very uncertain future for the animation at the Disney studios. If this film had bombed, we probably wouldn’t have Disney today as we know it. Luckily, this film did extremely well and insured that the Disney company could continue on. The Bare Necessities” scene is perfect if you are feeling low or just need a good song to boogie to. Gotta love this movie, and gotta love that is saved the studio after suffering a terrible loss.
