This movie is just about as fun as the originals from which it is derived. It seems to pull off the same concept with a little less cheese. I think that has to do with the fact that is it more of a reboot than a remake. If you do ever check this movie out, look for the actors who played the original kids in the restaurant scene. Their waitress played Tina and the Sheriff was Tony. I always love Easter eggs like that in films.
