RETURN OF THE SHAGGY DOG (1987)

Another Shaggy Dog, another boring made for TV movie. Once again, a magical ring turns a man into a dog during the most inopportune times. All this man wants to do is get married. Will he have to get married as a dog? Let me save you your time and tell you the answer. NO. Now you don’t have to watch the movie. Yay.

BEVERLY HILLS FAMILY ROBINSON (1997)

[ezcol_1fifth] [/ezcol_1fifth] [ezcol_4fifth_end]

A wealthy to-do family from Beverly Hills, who seems to have forgotten how to be a family, gets shipwrecked and must learn to survive Swiss Family Robinson style. Yeah, this one was pretty cheesy. But it was actually fun to watch once for a good laugh, because of how ridiculous it is. But no need to ever revisit this movie again…unless you are a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. She’s in it.

THE RETURN OF JAFAR (1994)

[ezcol_1fifth] [/ezcol_1fifth] [ezcol_4fifth_end]

The straight to DVD sequel of Aladdin, Return of Jafar is well, about the return of Jafar. Jafar, now a genie, has been released and is back for revenge. I remember loving watching it as a kid, but as an adult, it’s pretty cheesy and cheaply done. We are sure your kids will love it if you ever come across it, but don’t need to go searching for it unless you are an Aladdin fan.

ALADDIN (1992)

[ezcol_1fifth] [/ezcol_1fifth] [ezcol_4fifth_end]

Who doesn’t love Aladdin? This is one of the classics that is a must see for everyone. The story is great, Jafar is creepy and the genie is genius. In my opinion, this was Robin William’s greatest performance. He is absolutely amazing as the voice of Genie. And A Whole New World is one of the best and most beautiful Disney songs. We love this movie and can’t wait for the live action film to come out!

THE LEGEND OF LOBO (1962)

[ezcol_1fifth] [/ezcol_1fifth] [ezcol_4fifth_end]

This is a movie that seems to be part nature documentary and part narrative story. It follows the life of a legendary wolf named Lobo from the time he was a cub until he has a family of his own. It was interesting enough but was one that you can watch once and be done. If you are interested in the life of a wild wolf or nature documentaries then you should check this out. Otherwise, it is one that is OK to miss.

ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE (2001)

[ezcol_1fifth] [/ezcol_1fifth] [ezcol_4fifth_end]

Milo is a young man who believes he has discovered where to find Atlantis. Along with a group of explorers he embarks to go find the lost city. When they find the city, is it actually a good thing or will their lifestyle be destroyed once their secret civilization is revealed? I would say for the hardcore Disney fans, this is one you need to check out at least once. It is interesting enough but not one of our favorite Disney animated movies. I think kids may be entertained but will get lost and confused in the details and morals of the story. It is one that maybe every once in a long while we would check out again, but I wouldn’t ever need to purchase it for my own collection.
